1. What We Are and Are Not

• We are: a creative preservation studio providing fine art, story extraction, voice preservation kits, and companion daily keeping. Trauma-informed, secular, private, when-you-are-ready.
• We are not: therapy, psychotherapy, grief counseling, medical care, psychiatric care, legal advice, financial advice, or crisis hotline.
• Companion app is daily reflective keeping, not a replacement for Companion bereavement or clinical services.
• Books, facilitator guides, blog: educational and creative, not diagnostic.

2. Mon-Fri Container Only

Studio operates Monday through Friday, with async responses clustered Mon/Wed/Fri. This protects sustainable artistry and aligns with chronic health needs documented in About. We do not provide 24/7, evenings, weekends, or crisis response. Responses during Archive or Full Voice Preservation arrive within Mon/Wed/Fri window, not instantly. If you need immediate support, use 988 or local resources. Clock stops for health or family emergency up to 90 days per project when you email request — Move With, not on.

3. Human Artistry Only — Truth Over Tech

We believe your person’s real laugh matters more than generated approximation. We use AI for editing efficiency only (file organization, light noise reduction, transcription assistance). We never use AI to recreate sound, generate synthetic voice, or create avatars. Your voice files will never be used to train models that clone voices. If technology changes, we will require separate, explicit written consent to consider any voice synthesis — which we currently do not offer.

4. Health, Disability, and Access

Andrea lives with chronic health conditions including conditions that affect stamina. Archive is capped at 5 families per quarter (20 per year) not as scarcity marketing but as stewardship. Daily support, books, and Starter Preservation remain more open. We offer high-contrast mode where possible, reduced motion respect via prefers-reduced-motion, increased touch targets, and alternative access via email hello@ if you cannot complete upload. ADHD, chronic pain 8-9, Fibromyalgia, POTS considerations informed our accessibility fixes in July 2026.

5. No Guarantees & Your Responsibility

We cannot guarantee you will find voice files, that degraded voicemails can be restored, or that old carriers still hold data (Verizon typically deletes after 14-40 days once deleted from phone; we cannot recover from carriers). Results vary by source quality you provide. You are responsible for backing up final heirloom after delivery. We retain 90-day redownload window after delivery, then purge per your request timeline. Grief experiences vary — continuing bonds theory cited in our method (Dennis Klass) is educational, not medical advice; research indicates keeping recordings can support healthier adjustment for many but not all.

6. Affiliate & Testimonial Disclosure

We use affiliate tracking via ?ref param stored 60 days. Some pages may contain affiliate links to Amazon books or partner tools; we may earn commission. Testimonials shown are from real clients with permission where available; individual results vary. We comply with FTC endorsement guides: we ask affiliates to disclose FTC clearly.

7. Secular, Inclusive, Private

Our work is secular and inclusive of all faiths, backgrounds, identities. We do not provide ministry. Your stories and voice files remain private, never sold, never shared publicly without explicit written consent. Private forever. Fine art installments included in Archive are personal installations for family.
